Spirit Lake High School Key Club to Hold Free Movie Night

September 09, 2025

The Spirit Lake High School Key Club along with the Spirit Lake Noon Kiwanis are hosting a FREE movie night. Summer Stoller, who is the President of the Spirit Lake High School Key Club, says why they chose a movie night.

“So, the Spirit Lake noon Kiwanis was awarded with a mental health matters grant from the Nebraska/Iowa Kiwanis and so they chose to partner with us to come up with something to do with that grant and so we chose to do the movie night and it will be free for the community, just hope to get everyone there.

Besides the movie night, Stoller says they do a lot of other things in the community.

“Once a month we go to well life which is one of the nursing homes around here and we do activities with them and talk with them and just make sure to get ourselves out there with them. And then we help at the food pantry and pack the bags and deliver them and stuff. We deliver the bags to the Spirit Lake Elementary school. We also do bleacher zones which is helping clean up the bleachers after the home volleyball, basketball and football games.”

This FREE movie night will be on Sunday Sept 14th at 5pm and will be held on the Spirit Lake Hafer Football Field. They will be showing Inside Out 2. There will be free hotdogs, chips, water, popcorn and candy while supplies last. They also encourage you to bring your own blanket and chair.
