(Spirit Lake)– Spirit Lake is out of the running to become a Blue Zone Community.
Well Mark Blue Cross and Blue Shield announced this (Fri.) morning 11 Iowa communities have been selected for site visits and remain in the running.
While Spirit Lake did not make that list, Spencer did.
Ames, Cedar Falls, Cedar Rapids, Clinton, Davenport, Mason City, Muscatine, Ottumwa, Sioux City and Waterloo were also selected for site visits.
