(Spirit Lake)– A Spirit Lake man faces charges following a collision Monday evening at the intersection of Highway 71 and Enterprise Avenue in Spirit Lake.
Police say a motorcycle driven by Cecil Xavier-Thomas Kidd of Spirit Lake collided with a pickup. A three-vehicle chain reaction collision then occurred just moments later at the same location.
Kidd was arrested on charges of operation without an ignition interlock device, reckless driving, operating without registration, failure to provide proof of financial liability and no valid driver’s license. He was booked into the Dickinson county jail.
The drivers involved were checked over on the scene by an ambulance crew with Lakes Regional Healthcare and were released.
The incidents took place a little after 6:00 pm.
