(Spirit Lake)-Registration is open for the annual Sip ‘n Stroll in Spirit Lake. KUOO’s Becky Thoreson has details:
The Spirit Lake Chamber of Commerce will hold their annual Sip ‘n Stroll in Historic Downtown Spirit Lake on May 3.
Director Regina Reed says, some new businesses will participate this year. “There’s new businesses downtown since last year, so lots of good stuff to come and check out. Several of those businesses will obviously be participating in hosting one of the breweries, wineries or distilleries, I believe we have 14 this year. Also, the stores will provide appetizers to pair with the wine or with the whiskey or beer that they’re serving. It’s just a great time. So many people show up and just have a blast downtown and it’s just a beautiful place to do it.”
She adds that registration is open online. “So if they want to register, you will go to spiritlakecc.com, and then if you click on events, it will pop up and you can go on and register right there.”
Registration on the day of the event will take place at The Venue in Spirit Lake. Sip ‘n Stroll will run from 5-7:30 Wednesday night.
