(Spirit Lake)-Downtown Spirit Lake will be transformed into Santa’s Village this weekend. KUOO’s Becky Thoreson has details:
The Spirit Lake Chamber of Commerce will host the annual Santa’s Village on Saturday.
Director Regina Reed says many of the activities are free. “Most of it takes place in our beautiful downtown in Spirit Lake. There are 23 businesses participating this year. Each business has something fun for the kids to do. Most of it is free, there’s only 1 or 2 things that have a small cost to them. It’s just a great time to celebrate the holidays in our beautiful downtown.”
She adds that there are activities for all ages. “We have everything from cookie decorating to craft making to photos with Santa and his wife, just a little bit of everything for the kids to do, and it’s great for kids of all ages. There’s no little one too young or too old to participate.”
Santa’s Village will run from 9-3 on Saturday in Downtown Spirit Lake.
