Storm Lake –
A chemical spill following a truck accident near Newell, Iowa has closed part of Highway 7, Southwest of Storm Lake.
The incident occured on Wednesday when a semitrailer went off the road and rolling, throwing numerous chmial containers from the vehicle.
Haz mat crews were working to contin the spill, which includes 55 gallon drums of phosporic acid, sodium and potassium hydroxide mix, and chlorine bleach.
