Spencer West Beltway Project nearing completion

The West Beltway Project in Spencer is nearly complete.  The project involves construction on West 18th Street, and Airport Road and the Beltway.
While the project got off to a slow start due to the wet spring, Mark White, Public Works Director with the City of Spencer says, the work on 18th Street should be nearly finished by Labor Day:

White notes that the bridge portion of the road will be closed on Thursday, August 22:

White added that a portion of 32nd Avenue West, to the south of West 18th Street will not be completed prior to the Clay County Fair, which begins September 7, 2013 in Spencer.
