(Spencer)– Police in Spencer are reminding kids and parents that airsoft guns are illegal to use within the city limits. They are replica toy guns that fire non-lethal projectiles, but they’re built to resemble real firearms and can appear real from a distance.
Spencer Police announced on Facebook that they’ve received several calls in recent weeks of kids using airsoft guns in public. The department urges parents to talk to their kids in order to “help prevent a tragedy from occurring.”
