(Spencer)– Officials in Spencer are putting out a last minute call for donations for that community’s 4th of July fireworks display. Organizers say just over $6,200 had been raised as of Wednesday, short of the $10,100 needed. Those interested in making a contribution can make checks payable to the Spencer Chamber Foundation, and specify by writing “fireworks” in the notation. Donations can be dropped off at the Spencer Chamber or the Clay County Fair Administration Office.
The Spencer July 4th Fireworks Display will begin at 10:00 pm that evening at the Clay County Fairgrounds.
