(Sioux City)– A Spencer man has been sentenced on a federal drug charge. 35-year-old Kenneth Block will serve eight years in federal prison.
Block was sentenced Tuesday in U.S. District Court after pleading guilty in July of this year to conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.
Evidence presented at various court hearings showed that from February 2021 through September 2021 Block and others distributed at least 2.5 kilograms of meth in the Spencer area. Court documents say on September 29th, 2021, Block was found with about 170 grams of ice methamphetamine after giving consent to a search of his vehicle.
