(Spencer)—A joint investigation conducted by the Clay County Sheriff’s Office and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has resulted in the arrest of a rural Spencer man on a sexual abuse and incest charges.
Authorities say 23-year-old Caleb Stoever was arrested for allegedly performing sex acts on a child that was a relative of his.
Stoever was booked into jail on charges of sexual abuse in the 2nd degree and incest…both are class “D” felonies. He was being held pending an initial court appearance.
Stoever was arrested shortly after 7:00 a.m. Saturday at a rural Spencer address.
The Clay County Attorney’s Office assisted in the case.
