November 22, 2014

(Spencer)– A Spencer man has been sentenced to 75 days in jail and ordered to pay more than $10,000 in fines and restitution after being convicted of charges connected to the solicitation of minors.

Donald Zieman received a suspended sentence of eight years imprisonment on three counts of prostitution and two counts of disseminating or exhibiting obscene material to a minor.

Zieman was convicted of the charges on December 14th of last year.

The events, involving minor boys, took place between April 18th and October 20th, 2010.

At his sentencing, Zieman admitted to ordering pay per view pornography for atleast one boy who was working for him at the time. But Zieman accused the boys of making false statements and said that he was made to believe that one of them was 18-years-old.
