(Spencer)– An ongoing investigation into criminal sexual conduct has resulted in seven counts of incest…a class “D” felony…being filed against a Spencer man.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 47-year-old Dean Bond of Spencer was arrested Monday at his residence.
Bond is accused of fathering a child with a relative between May, 2009 and March, 2010. A news release issued by the Sheriff’s Office didn’t go into further detail.
Bond was booked into the Clay county jail and was later released after posting bond.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office was assisted in its investigation by the Iowa Department of Human Services, Spencer Police Department, the Clay County Attorney’s Office and the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigations lab.
