(Okoboji)– A Spencer man has been arrested on drug charges following an ongoing investigation by the Okoboji Police Department. Authorities say the suspect, 26-year-old Carlos Hicks of Spencer, was arrested Monday by the Spencer Police Department on warrants. Hicks was charged with ongoing criminal conduct, possession with intent to deliver cocaine and possession with intent to deliver marijuana. Bond was set at $50,000. Hicks was being held at the Clay County jail on separate drug-related charges out of that county.
Okoboji police say additional charges are likely against Hicks in connection with their investigation.
The Iowa Great Lakes Drug Task Force, Iowa Department of Public Safety’s Narcotics Enforcement and the Dickinson and Clay County Attorney’s Offices assisted in the investigation.
