(Spencer)– A Spencer man wanted on a warrant was taken into custody Wednesday evening after leading officers on a short pursuit on his bicycle.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 45-year-old Thaddeus Currans was eventually apprehended in the 10 block of West 3rd Street in Spencer and was served with the warrant. A subsequent search of Currans turned up numerous items of drug paraphernalia. He was booked into jail on additional charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and interference with official acts.
Spencer Police and the Iowa Department of Narcotics Enforcement assisted in the arrest.
