(Spencer)– Spencer Hospital and its affiliated clinics have achieved reaccreditation by the Center for Improvement in Healthcare Quality, a national accreditation organization sanctioned by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, or CMS. It’s based on an assessment that included detailed reviews of medical records, care practices, staff and patient interviews and facility inspections.
Spencer Hospital CEO and President Brenda Tiefenthaler says it’s further evidence of their long-standing commitment to improve and enhance healthcare for their patients. She thanks the hospital and clinic teams for their role in maintaining the standard of excellence.
Spencer Hospital has also been recognized as a Top 100 Rural and Community Hospital the past 10 years.
