Spencer Economic Development Corporation has a New Logo and Website

(Spencer)— The Spencer Economic Development Corporation, or SEDC, has a new logo and website. Officials say the logo incorporates colors from the partner organizations that support SEDC, including the city of Spencer, Spencer Municipal Utilities, and the Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation. They add the ripple effect in the logo represents the impact of the organization through partnerships and development efforts. Officials say SEDC’s new website, SpencerEDC.com, showcases various projects and programs of SEDC to support the community. It also includes information on the Commercial Business Assistance Grant program that helped out 70 businesses with flood recovery needs. The Spencer Child Care Study can also be found at the site along with additional information about the SEDC and videos showcasing growth and development opportunities.
