(Spencer)– A Spencer company has moved into a larger facility.
Heartland Communications has relocated its operations to 921 Second Avenue Southwest in Spencer after outgrowing its former location.
The company currently employs 10 people and is expecting that number to grow to 20 in the next year or so.
The new location was acquired with assistance from staff of the Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation who put the company in contact with a local developer who owns Heartland’s current location, and remodeled it to fit the company’s needs.
Heartland Communications publishes three nationally circulated magazines…all of them agriculturally-related.
Nearly 50 percent of the company’s circulation is digital, using web marketing and digital flipbooks.
Heartland Communications has been in Spencer since February, 2007.
