(Spencer)– The Spencer City Council Monday evening held a public hearing on a proposed zoning amendment that would allow accessory dwellings as permitted structures in the “B” Multiple Residential Zoning District and as Special Exception Uses in the “A” Residential District. There were no public comments at last (Mon.) evening’s meeting and the council approved the first reading of the proposed change.
The council also held a public hearing and approved the 1st reading of another proposed zoning change that would add “funeral services” as a permitted use in the C-2 Highway Commercial District.
