(Spencer)– The Iowa Transportation Commission has approved a Revitalize Iowa’s Sound Economy (RISE) local development grant application submitted by the city of Spencer.
Up to $140,000 will be made available to assist in constructing about 1,260 feet of East Eighth Street on the east side of Spencer. The project is expected to be completed by August. Officials say it will provide access to more than 111 acres for heavy industrial use.
