(Jackson, Mn.)– The Wastewater Department for the city of Jackson has received some special recognition for outstanding operations from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. The recognition is bestowed to facilities demonstrating consistent compliance with monitoring, operations and maintenance requirements; submitting accurate, on-time reports to the MPCA, for employing staff certified by the agency in wastewater operations.
The recognition comes in conjunction with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Clean Water Act.
