(Estherville)– A special event next week will honor Valerie Newhouse, the longtime President at Iowa Lakes Community College who will be retiring at the end of this month. A reception in honor of Newhouse will be held Thursday, June 9th at 2:30 pm at the Janice K. Lund Performing Arts Center at the Estherville campus.
Newhouse served the college in a number of capacities prior to becoming the institution’s President in 2009 and has received a number of prestigious honors.
Scott Stokes will succeed Newhouse as President at ILCC effective July 1st.
