(Undated)– Iowa is joining ten other states in the Midwest and near south for a traffic awareness campaign next week. Law enforcement around the state will be out in force looking for any drivers exceeding the speed limit on Wednesday, even for going one mile over, according to a press release from the Iowa Department of Public Safety. The Iowa Governor’s Traffic Safety Bureau is siting a higher fatality count for crashes in 2023.
