Southern Mn. Crash Results In Minor Injuries

(Fairmont, Mn.)– Minor injuries were reported in a single-vehicle crash late Thursday afternoon on Interstate 90 near Fairmont.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 23-year-old Michael Capshaw of Fairmont was driving a 1991 Chevrolet westbound when the vehicle started to hydroplane on the wet road, causing him to lose control. The vehicle went into the north ditch.

Capshaw was taken to the Fairmont Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.

Severe damage was reported to the vehicle.

The crash took place shortly before 4:00 p.m.

The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted on the scene by the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.
