(St. James, Mn.)– A collision Tuesday in southern Minnesota involving a pickup and a semi sent one person to the hospital.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 36-year-old Drakley Koch of Lakefield was driving a 2007 Freightliner semi eastbound on Highway 60 near St. James when he collided with a stalled 2016 Chevrolet Silverado that was partially blocking the eastbound lanes.

The driver of the pickup, 77-year-old Randall Sippel of Chaska, Minnesota, was taken to the St. James hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No injuries were reported to Koch.
