Southern Minnesota Crash Results In Minor Injuries

(Northrup, Mn.)– A two-vehicle collision Thanksgiving Day in Martin county resulted in minor injuries to one person.

The Minnesota State Patrol says vehicles driven by 28-year-old Sergiy Grapchev of Fairmont and 20-year-old Jesse Walters of Truman collided at the intersection of Highway 15 and 170th Street in Northrup.

Walters was taken to the Fairmont hospital where he was treated for a minor injury.

No injuries were reported to Grapchev or five passengers in his vehicle.

A 1998 Ford van driven by Grapchev and a 1999 Chevrolet driven by Walters both sustained severe damage.

The collision took place shortly before 11:30 a.m.

The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted on the scene by the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.
