Software Conversion Cited In Delay For Getting Tax Statements Out

November 22, 2014

(Spirit Lake)– Wondering why you haven’t received you property tax statement yet? Dickinson County Treasurer Kris Rowley says it’s due to a tax software conversion that was made this spring. She says they had to make sure everything converted properly from the old software to the new…something that can take a lot of time.

Rowley says the statements were mailed out today (Fri.).

The first half of property taxes is due the month of September. Because September 30th falls on a Sunday this year, Rowley says property owners will get an additional day to pay without penalty. Delinquent interest will be added October 2nd.
