(Arnolds Park)– Barbecue will be the name of the game this Saturday (6/23) at Preservation Plaza at the Arnolds Park Amusement Park. The annual “Smoke on The Water” barbecue contest and musicfest will be taking plae. Stacy Rosemore of the Okoboji Tourism Committee says more than $6,000 in prize money will be on the line…(click here for comment from Rosemore.).

As of today (Tues.), Rosemore says 13 teams are signed up for the barbecue competition and that they’re from throughout the region…and represent all ranges of expertise…(click here for comment from Rosemore.)
The public tasting for the People’s Choice division of the competition will run from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m., or until supplies run out.
