(Spirit Lake)– Be on the lookout for some slick roads if you’re going to be traveling overnight tonight (Fri.) and tomorrow (Sat.). The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for the region due to the possibility of freezing rain, sleet and snow.
While forecasters say accumulations should be light, it doesn’t take much in the way of freezing rain to make travel dangerous.
The precipitation comes as some warmer air will be making its way into the region. Forecasters say high temperatures Saturday could get close to 32 degrees so that should hopefully help with any ice we receive.
