(Spirit Lake)– The Spirit Lake High School Mock Trial Team won the Sioux City regional qualifying tournament and will advance to state at the end of the month.
Four students qualified at the regional, including Elizabeth Johnson, Nick O’Brien, Ashley Grieg and Rachael Tinker.
Johnson, O’Brien and Dana Potter received all region attorney awards; Grieg, Tinker, Sierra Miller and Teesha Hayes received all regional witness awards; Johnson was unanimously voted by judges as best attorney.
