(Des Moines)—Congratulations to the Spirit Lake High School Mock Trial Team for its state tournament performance. Seven members of the team received all-state honorable mention recognition along with winning the Judge Anthony Critelli Award. The award recognizes the team that best exhibits the highest standards of professional conduct and decorum at the state finals.
All-State Honorable Mention Attorneys for Spirit Lake included Megan Johnson, Tyler Schmitz, Cale Schmidt and Hannah Sudbrink. All-State Honorable Mention Witnesses from Spirit Lake included Lexi Jennings, Theresa Folan and Tanner Mefferd.
Other team members are Emily Burrell and Morgan Branum.
