(Spirit Lake)– A traffic stop Tuesday evening in Spirit Lake resulted in drug charges against a Spirit Lake man.
Spirit Lake police say an officer pulled over a vehicle for a traffic violation around 10:45 p.m.
The driver, 22-year-old Jessica Doty of Spirit Lake, was issued a citation for speeding.
A search of the vehicle and a passenger, 33-year-old Robert Kellogg of Spirit Lake, turned up a green plant material alleged to be marijuana, along with drug paraphernalia.
Kellogg was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance…marijuana; and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Kellogg was booked into the Dickinson county jail.
