(Spirit Lake)– A traffic stop Tuesday in Spirit Lake resulted in the arrest of a Spirit Lake man on drug charges.
Spirit Lake police say officers pulled over a vehicle driven by 22-year-old Jason Breems of Spirit Lake shortly after 5:30 p.m. following a complaint of erratic driving.
Upon further investigation the department’s K9 “Zeke” conducted a sniff, resulting in officers finding what’s alleged to be marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Breems was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance…a serious misdemeanor…and possession of drug paraphernalia…a simple misdemeanor.
He was booked into the Dickinson county jail.
