(Spirit Lake)– The Spirit Lake School District has a couple more new administrators.
Meeting in special session Monday evening, the school board unanimously approved the hirings of Shane Boeve and Kevin Range as Elementary and Middle School Principals, respectively.
Boeve comes to Spirit Lake from Tipton where he was an Elementary Principal and a coach; Range comes to the Spirit Lake School District from just down the road…the Okoboji Community School District…where he was a high school counselor and coach.
Boeve’s salary was set at 72-thousand dollars a year; Range’s was put at 80-thousand.
The board also Monday evening approved teacher and coaching contracts for the upcoming school year, along with support staff salaries.
They also approved four grant applications through the Dickinson County Endowment Fund.
