(Spirit Lake)– The early warm-up has the city of Spirit Lake picking up up green waste curbside a couple of weeks earlier than normal.
Public Works Director Diwight Dohlman says beginning Friday, March 23rd, green waste in 30 gallon paper bags and brush tied in 12″ round by 48 inch long bundles will be picked up from the curbside. Green waste must be placed curbside by 7:00 a.m. Friday mornings.
While the greenwaste site northeast of town is open residents are asked to use the curbside option as much as possible due to muddy conditions at the site.
