(Spirit Lake)– A lakes area service organization has made a sizable donation to two entities that provide food to those in the area who are in need.
The Spirit Lake Noon Kiwanis Club recently donated $1,500 to Upper Des Moines Opportunity of Dickinson County and the Hunger Coalition of Dickinson County. The money will be used to purchase items for families to prepare and enjoy a Thanksgiving meal.
The Spirit Lake Noon Kiwanis Club encourages others to think of those in need this holiday season and pay it forward.
