(Spirit Lake)– Minor injuries were reported Saturday in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Hill Avenue and Highways nine and 71 in Spirit Lake.
Spirit Lake police say 49-year-old Megan Klein of Spirit Lake was eastbound on Highways 9 and 71 and was turning north onto Hill Avenue when she collided with a vehicle driven by 33-year-old Michelle Bunge of Maplewood, Minnesota who was westbound on Highways 9 and 71.
Klein was taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare; Bunge refused immediate treatment.
A 2009 Ford Flex driven by Klein sustained an estimated $15,000 in damage; $5,000 in damage was estimated to a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by Bunge.
The collision took place around 11:45 a.m.
