(Spirit Lake)– A search warrant executed Thursday evening on a Spirit Lake apartment resulted in drug charges against two people.
Spirit Lake police say the search was conducted around 8:00 p.m. at 2607 Erie Avenue, apartment three. Authorities say they found a green leafy substance alleged to be marijuana along with several items of drug paraphernalia.
23-year-old Nathan Bjorklund and 22-year-old Tiffany Alexander…both of Spirit Lake…were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance…marijuana…a serious misdemeanor; and possession of drug paraphernalia…a simple misdemeanor.
Authorities say the search was the result of a brief investigation by the Spirit Lake Police Department and Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office.
They add the case remains under investigation and additional arrests may be made.
