(Sioux City)– The 3A Judicial Nominating Commission has received six applicants for the District Associate Judge vacancy created by the appointment of Andrew Smith to the District Court bench.
The applicants include Kristi Busse of Spencer, Elizabeth Elsten of Spirit Lake, Ashley Herrig of Greenville, Nolan McGowan of Sibley, Ben Meyer of Laurens and Elizabeth Specketer of Rembrandt.
Each applicant will have an opportunity to appear before the entire commission for a personal interview at the Cherokee County Courthouse Thursday, November 7th.
Judicial District 3A consists of Buena Vista, Cherokee, Clay, Dickinson, Emmet, Kossuth, Lyon, O’Brien, Osceola and Palo Alto counties.
