(Hospers)– The Iowa State Patrol has released details into a motorcycle crash this past Saturday that claimed the life of a Melvin man.
Troopers say 47-year-old Barry Cammann of Melvin was southbound on Highway 60 near Hospers when he lost control. The motorcycle crossed over the gravel shoulder and went into the west ditch where it became airborne, ejecting Cammann.
Cammann was taken to the Orange City hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Five thousand dollars in damage was estimated to the motorcycle.
The mishap took place around 11:20 a.m.
