(Milford)– A Milford teen sustained minor injuries in a single-vehicle crash Monday evening on Highway 71 south of Milford.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says 17-year-old Sandy Leu of Milford was driving a 2008 Toyota southbound in the 2400 block of Highway 71 when she lost control. The vehicle left the road and rolled.
Leu was treated on the scene by paramedics and released.
Other occupants in the van had fled the scene by the time officers arrived. They were located later.
Damage to the van was estimated at $10,000.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Milford, Arnolds Park and Okoboji Police Departments, Milford Fire and Rescue and the Arnolds Park/Okoboji Fire Department.
The crash took place around 10:17 P.M.
