(Sibley)– A single-vehicle rollover Tuesday at an exit ramp into Sibley off Highway 60 sent one person to the hospital.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says 81-year-old Byron Lopau of Sibley was northbound on Highway 60 and was taking exit 48 onto Northwest Boulevard into Sibley when he was going too fast for the curve. The vehicle went onto the shoulder and rolled, coming to rest on its top.
Lopau was taken by ambulance to the Osceola Community Hospital in Sibley with what was described as non-incapacitating injuries.
The vehicle was totaled.
The crash took place shortly after 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on the scene by Sibley Fire and Rescue and the Sibley ambulance.
