(Spencer)—A Rutland, Iowa woman was injured in a single-vehicle crash Saturday in Clay county.
Authorities say 24-year-old Melissa North of Rutland was driving a 1998 Buick Century southbound on 320th Avenue when she lost control on some loose gravel, causing her to lose control. The vehicle went into the ditch and rolled, coming to rest on its top.
North was transported to Spencer Hospital where she was treated for minor injuries and released.
$3,000 in damage was estimated to the vehicle.
The crash took place shortly before 4:30 p.m.
