(Emmetsburg)—A single vehicle crash Thursday on 460th Avenue in Palo Alto county injured an Estherville woman.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says Melissa Studer of Estherville was northbound when she lost control of a 2010 Ford Explorer on the ice-covered road. The vehicle went into the west ditch where it rolled onto its top.
Studer was taken to the Palo Alto County Hospital.
The vehicle was totaled.
Studer was cited for failure to maintain control.
The crash took place shortly after 1:00 p.m.
