(Emmetsburg)– A single-vehicle crash shortly after 10:00 a.m. Sunday on a county road a half mile east of Emmetsburg injured two people.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says Ronald Peter of Estherville was westbound in the 4700 block of 370th Street when he lost control and went into the north ditch. The vehicle then collided with the ditch embankment.
Peter and a passenger, Audrey Peter also of Estherville, were taken by ambulance to the Palo Alto County Hospital. There was no word on the extent of their injuries.
Damage to a 1998 Ford was estimated at 3,500-dollars.
