(Spencer)– An Emmetsburg man was injured in a single vehicle crash Wednesday near Dickens. The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 23-year-old Timothy Miller suffered a medical event while driving a 2,000 Toyota 4Runner southbound in the 3300 mile of County Road N-14. The vehicle left the road and rolled several times coming to rest in the ditch on its side.
Miller was able to get out of the vehicle on his own and was taken to Spencer Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The vehicle was totaled.
The Dickens and Ruthven Fire Departments and Spencer Ambulance assisted on the scene.
The crash took place shortly before 3:00 pm.
