(Primghar)– A single-vehicle crash Thursday in O’Brien county claimed the life of a Primghar teen.
The Iowa State Patrol identifies the victim as 18-year-old Dylan Logan of Primghar.
Troopers say Logan was driving a 1998 Chevrolet Monte Carlo westbound on 400th Street. Authorities say he lost control as he was crossing the Lake Creek bridge. The vehicle rolled several times, ejecting Logan, who authorities say was not wearing a seatbelt.
Logan was pronounced dead on the scene.
The vehicle was totaled.
Authorities were called to the scene shortly after 8:30 a.m. Thursday, but they believe it happened earlier in the morning.
The Iowa State Patrol was assisted on the scene by the O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office, the O’Brien County Medical Examiner, Primghar Fire and Rescue and the Primghar ambulance.
