Sibley Teen Sentenced In Assault Case

November 22, 2014

(Sibley)– A Sibley teen was sentenced earlier this week in Osceola County District Court after pleading guilty to a charge of assault causing bodily injury.

Court documents say the charge against 17-year-old Devin Maker is the result of a male victim being assaulted with a hammer back on December 15th of last year in Sibley.

Maker was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 28 days suspended. He was placed on probation for two years with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office and is to have no contact with the victim.

Maker was also ordered to pay more than 500-dollars in court costs and court-appointed attorneys fees.
