(Sibley)– The Sibley-Ocheyedan School District is moving ahead with its search for a new Superintendent with the assistance of a consulting firm.
District officials say seven candidates have applied and were reviewed by the school board during a closed session on Monday, with the list being reduced to four. The final four candidates will be interviewed February 6th. The finalists from that group will then be publicly announced, and will be further interviewed by a stakeholder group of students, staff, teachers, administrators and community members on February 22nd.
The new Superintendent will take over duties at Sibley-Ocheyedan this coming July 1st.
