(Sibley)– A Sibley man has pleaded guilty to a drug charge in Osceola County District Court.
20-year-old Lawrence Lovan entered the plea Friday to a charge of delivery of marijuana, a class “D” felony.
As part of his sentence, Lovan was ordered to pay a $1,558 fine. A five year jail sentence was suspended. Lovan was placed on probation for two years, was ordered to successfully complete a victim empathy class and to undergo a substance abuse evaluation and comply with treatment recommendations.
The charge stems from an incident on March 24th of last year in which Lovan delivered 7 1/2 grams of marijuana to a confidential informant in Osceola county.
